Founded in 1994, the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is a nonprofit organization devoted to bettering the teaching and learning of American history. The Institute offers an array of resources and programs for schools, teachers, and students, including its Hamilton Education Program that will benefit 100,000 Title I School students nationally. Each year the Institute impacts millions of teachers and students nationwide.
